Dr Heather Blaylock was privileged to attend the European School of Sexual Medicine ten day programme held in Budapest from 14-23 October. 47 students from 30 countries participated in the intense academic programme from different medical disciplines. Topics covered included basic anatomy and neurobiology, Female and Male Sexual Dysfunction, Psychosexual treatment methods, Couples therapy, Gender Dysphoria and Chronic conditions and sexual challenges. This has set a solid foundation for Sexual Health treatments in the practice and looking forward to helping more patients in our area manage these potentially distressing concerns which may impact on quality of life. It was such a positive experience to connect and network with colleagues from all over the world.
Looking forward to the next ESSM conference in Nice 2017.
